Tirohia is a research platform and suite of digital tools designed to advance youth mental health research and practice. Developed in collaboration with leading researchers from the University of Auckland, it enables the design and delivery of customised studies, surveys, and digital wellbeing trials — with real-time data on participant engagement and outcomes.

At its core, Tirohia connects researchers, clinicians, and participants through an intuitive and secure interface. The platform supports and powers a range of digital wellbeing apps — including Headstrong, My Mood, Life Buoy, and SPARX — enabling researchers to evaluate engagement, impact, and effectiveness across multiple interventions.

Built by Kekeno, Tirohia reflects our commitment to creating technology that strengthens research capability, fosters collaboration, and contributes to better mental health outcomes for young people across Aotearoa.
